We’re a team of 15 mathematicians, data scientists, and developers from Brno, united by a passion for solving tough problems – and the occasional bad joke. Since launching in May 2022, we’ve quickly built a close-knit, efficient crew with a reputation for getting things done. We specialize in data analysis and machine learning, delivering smart, innovative solutions for big projects. We work hard, we laugh harder, and while we may poke fun at each other, it's all in the spirit of respect and teamwork. When it comes to complex challenges, we’ve got the skills and the vibe to make it happen.

Michal, as a co-founder, knows how to talk about us nicely, so he connects us with interesting people, brings new projects and creates business opportunities. He enjoys good wine and a pipe or cigar, but he does not refuse any sport challenge.
Our chief mathematician, nitpick and know-it-all. At work, he uses both the sense for detail and the ability to see the big picture to drive our projects to successful results. In private life, he uses the same to rise interest in the heads of all of his six seven offsprings.
Data analyst focusing on various areas of data mining, traditional statistical methods and data analytics. For his work, he mainly uses the R language, which complements Python. In his spare time, he enjoys books, hiking and sports.
Mirek!! works as a data analyst with a focus on topology and geographic data. Recently, he has also been involved in IoT data collection and storage and communications. Outside of work, he likes to relax somewhere in the woods, on a bike or with a book.
Ondřej has joined as our new project manager, overseeing everything that happens at CzechMath. Besides that, he is pursuing his PhD at Mendel University in Brno, is involved in event management and politics and relaxes preferably on hike with some friends, or with a book in hand.
Betka's passion is coding in Python and working with time series. In her free time, she enjoys going to the theater, reading books of various genres, and sleeping under the open sky.
The new face of HR and back office provides support for employees as well as administrative tasks. In her free time, she is very active and enjoys sports, finding movement relaxing. Her true passion is swimming, which she also pursues professionally as a coach.

The newest member of our team. He is interested in machine learning and bioinformatics. He is also recently developing a career in software engineering. In his free time, he enjoys playing board games, listening to music, and going to nature.
He works as a data analyst focused on Python, and spends the rest of his time exploring mountains, reading books, creating things with his hands, and puzzling over how the universe actually works. He enjoys any form of challenging problem-solving, and will instantly join any board game or a tricky riddle. His favorite sports are climbing, bouldering, chess, and football.

Challengers
We are open to almost any new project even in the fields that we have even never heard about. Each one of us loves new challenges and to get deep down into new areas and learn
Learning & growth
Being around smart, motivated people naturally pushes you to improve. There’s no forced self-development nonsense—just an environment where you pick things up from those around you.
Honesty & openness
We say things as they are. Newcomers are often surprised by how direct and transparent we are—no sugarcoating, no office politics. It makes work simpler and collaboration easier.
Everyone helps each other and get involved
Everyone has a role to play, but when someone needs help, they are never alone. There's always someone ready to lend a helping hand.
Be yourself
You don’t have to fit into some “company culture” mold. Everyone here is different, and that’s how we like it. Your quirks, opinions, and personality aren’t just tolerated—they make things more interesting.
Enjoying time
We take our work seriously, but not ourselves. Whether it’s table football, joking around, or hanging out over a hookah, we make sure work isn’t just a grind.
Flat structure & trust
We don’t do micro-management. Everyone is trusted to take ownership of their work, make decisions, and drive projects forward. Autonomy isn’t a privilege here; it’s a given.
Ideas matter
If you have a better way of doing something, suggest it. We don’t stick to old ways just because “that’s how it’s always been done.” If it makes sense, we try it.
